Ash from Inspire was delighted to be the lucky winner for a food tasting extravaganza of culinary delights. The restaurant was busy but that certainly didnt stop chef Harlan from popping over and chatting with us whenever he had a moment. He warned us that we were in for a treat and that was exactly what it was.
1st course – middle eastern style Falafal with Hummus, Harrissa and Garlic Aioli
2nd course – bone marrow, truffle mushroom pecorino crust with a Chinese pho Soup.
3rd course – Crispy Prawn, wasabi mayo and chilli oil
4th course – Pad ka prao beef in a handcrafted onion ice cream cone
5th course – Beef brisket with BBQ Sauce
6th course – Chocolate Brownie, Vanilla Icecream and chocolate sauce.
Overall it was an exceptional experience with some of the best Cocktails I have had in town. Harlan is a great guy and a passionate chef, this city is certainly blessed to have such a high standard dining experience right on our doorstep.
