Must See Spectacular Firework Display
The annual Pattaya International Firework festival is, for many, the crowning event of the year in Pattaya; and you would be hard pushed to find better firework shows anywhere else in the world, it truly is a world class spectacle.
The firework show can be seen in most parts of Pattaya but the best locations are long beach road where there are plenty of places to find a seat – such as on the beach itself. The festival is a weekend affair and so you get two nights to enjoy slightly different firework displays.
It can get very busy along Pattaya Beach Road but that generally adds to the carnival atmosphere. Do not attempt to drive your car to location instead opt for taxi bike or go on foot, its much easier especially when the fireworks finish and everyone tends to leave at the same time.
What to Expect
The festival typically features 45-minute shows by different nationalities, it can sometimes start as late as 9pm; but get to Beach Road by 8pm to secure best seating locations.
There will also be booths selling locally made products, a carnival-style parade, shows, concerts, magic and juggling acts and 3D painting photography along Beach Road.
Look to inspire each year for exact weekend dates as they vary from year to year, but expect the Pattaya International Firework festival to be on the last weekend of November.
